NetCom Learning’s December Scholarship Winner is a Lifelong Learner

Feb. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- New York, NY - NetCom Learning (http://www.netcomlearning.com/aboutnetcom/whynetcom.phtml?advid=412) recently announced the winner of its December Sarder Scholarship. Cheryl Ferguson won the $2,500 scholarship and will put it towards multiple classes at NetCom Learning.
Named after benefactor and NetCom Learning CEO, author and business magnate, Russell Sarder (http://www.russellsarder.com), the Sarder Scholarship is awarded to a different student each month. NetCom Learning offers the scholarship as a way to promote its vision of lifelong learning. The award can be used toward any of NetCom Learning's IT training or business skills courses.

Ferguson, who has been a Desktop Support Technician for 15 years, is interested in taking more advanced classes to further her career. She has interests in Web Design and Mobile Development Professional courses with the motive of one day opening her own company.
“I want to reenter the job force as a multifaceted technician. I want to continue learning web design and mobile application development so that I can start my own company and venture into the non-profit arena and teach the disadvantaged,” said Ferguson.

Sarder acknowledged the fact that offering the scholarship helps many students, but it's rewarding for him as well. "It's a great feeling to know that the Sarder Scholarship is helping students in their pursuit of lifelong learning and helping them realize their career goals," Sarder said.
