March 22, 2012 - PRLog -- DJ MaxHeat, is a man with a voice recently interviewing many major league hitters in the music, and television industry regarding their recent movement for our youth. Unhappy about the lyrics, and images that today's music lyrics paint for our youth Songwriter Milliea McKinney, and a team of heavy hitters in the entertainment industry come together to protest with a new company that supports our youth, and their right to have their innocence. Conscious Music Entertainment, advocates for today's youth saying today's music is too mature for our kids the lyrics are too violent, and graphic for today's youth role modeling that its 'okay' for our kids to take on roles much more mature than most are ready for. "Music industry, and the recording artist, has to take on a certain responsibility to our kids since they are the painters in our young lives painting images that are acceptable says McKinney". Lyrics that are violent, graphic, that degrade the female population should never be acceptable as we are the role models, and leaders of tomorrows future through our children we raise. McKinney says, she feels part of today's social problems stem from the lack of concern for our kids today. The economy calls our leaders, and  head of households, to be away from their families to make a living,  and our youth has little or, no guidance to groom their growing needs. MaxHeat, having his own radio program chose to open his mic because, he too wants to make a difference stepping up to the plate he has words of wisdom to share with the youth of today. Growing up in the era of rap, and hip hop he too was influenced but, says he has cleaned up his act knowing through experience the impact music plays in the eyes and ears of our youth. Role modeling is vital if we are to clean up our teen social issues such as gangs, random violence, teen pregnancy, bullying, and teen harassment just to name a few of the major social issues teens, and communities fight on a daily basis.
McKinney says, "how many kids have to be harassed, bullied or, even lose their life because they are different, and a song they heard paints a picture of violence towards those that fit that profile, and paints the idea that it is okay?"
Music is huge in humanities life, and designs an even bigger picture for those teens yet to experience real life. Making positive choices, and understanding the difference is crucial for our kids if they are to grow up, and be productive citizens that lead our future. Not to mention what they learn in their lifetime will certainly influence the generation they will some day mold. Until that generation has the opportunity to understand their choice we the adults, and role models need to keep them in mind especially when filtering music in the world where they have access to hearing and being influenced by it.
McKinney, says the more celebrities, and artist that are involved the better the world looks for it is them that influence our youth. MaxHeat, will no doubt continue his support by continuing his forum of wisdom as he opens the mics to those artist yet to come to bat for our kids that need so desperately to be understood. His next guest includes music teacher, mentor, and advocate for Conscious Music Entertainment, and Muzart World Foundation Gloria Brown. Also scheduled is the amazing five time promoter of the year,  Founder of Muzart World Foundation, and currently CEO, of StarPointe Records Pat Melfi.
Melfi, a true advocate for the well being of today's youth, and education, he is the true compassion behind the project says McKinney, he  has only just begun to shine the light on the needs of our youth, and you can best be sure this will no doubt be an interview all mentors leaders and parents need to hear!
