Born in Portsmouth, Ohio in 1948, Kathleen Battle's soaring voice has taken her to the greatest concert stages and concert halls of the world. After the end of her tenure at the Metropolitan Opera, where she sang for over 20 years, Ms. Battle continues to mesmerize audiences with her recitals and concert appearances, which has even included collaborations with popular artists such as Alicia Keys, Queen Latifah, James Ingram and Janet Jackson.
