Follow on Google News | Oakland’s 25C Presents Saturday Soiree – A Chance to SUPPORT the Bay Area artisan community!Saturday, April 7, 2012, the 25C is hosting a Saturday Soiree- an afternoon of wine tasting and live music from MEME, featuring the sustainable works of the 25th street fashion collective along with 15 other local artisans.
By: Ecologique Fashion This community-enriched event will take place Saturday, April 7th, 2012 from 1:00pm -6:00pm at the Collective’s 6,000 sq. ft. vintage warehouse space at 477 25th Street in Oakland’s UPTown Arts District-- between Telegraph and Broadway (near the 19th street BART station). The Saturday Soiree provides a daytime alternative to First Friday's Art Murmur evening event. Live musical performances will be provided by MEME (http://www.memetrance.com) 25C member studios of designers Hiroko Kurihara (founder of the 25C) (http://www.hirokokurihara.com) , Myrrhia Fine Knitwear (http://myrrhia.com), es&s (http://essclothiers.com), O’Lover Hats (http://www.oloverhats.com) In addition, local artisans offering furniture, apparel, accessories, handbags, food, home furnishings, hand made books, and body products will be onsite sharing their goods.
