"Top Shelf" Burger brings LaFrieda Beef to Charlotte

April 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Harry’s Grille and Tavern unveils its “Top-Shelf” burger featuring LaFrieda beef. The burger will be available to order on Tuesday, April 10th one day after Pat LaFrieda’s show, Meat Men premiered on the Food Network. Pat LaFrieda is a celebrated New York butcher and meat purveyor who has been dubbed “The Meat Magician” by New York Magazine.

Harry’s Grille & Tavern, located in the Town of Ayrsley in Southwest Charlotte, will be the first and only restaurant in the area to feature LaFrieda beef and will do so by way of the “Top Shelf Burger”. This custom beef blend crusted with truffle oil, salt & pepper, topped with Havarti cheese, exotic mushrooms, crispy fried onions served on a croissant bun was handpicked during a burger development tasting held at Harry’s within weeks of opening their doors for business.

The burger panel included well known Charlotte bloggers The Food Baby’s Lauren Widrick and Urban Food Life’s Curtis Bonwell and Ella Hailey. Boomer from Clear Channel Radio, Andy Safnauer with Long Train Productions , Tonya Sciranko and Melissa Fitch from Northwood Ravin were also in attendance.

The “Top Shelf” burger costs $15 and is served with a side of fries.
