ScottMadden Announces the Promotion of Scott Manning to Corporate & Shared Services Practice Lead

April 10, 2012 - PRLog -- ScottMadden, Inc., is pleased to announce the promotion of Scott Manning to corporate and shared services practice lead. Manning joined ScottMadden in 1998 and has been a partner since 1999. He brings with him more than 20 years of consulting experience in energy, healthcare, telecommunications, manufacturing, high technology, and transportation in the United States and abroad.

In his new role, Manning will be responsible for the strategic oversight of research and planning for the firm’s corporate and shared services practice. His areas of expertise include employee service center design and implementation, outsourcing, operations improvement, organization design and staffing, strategic and business planning, and change implementation and management projects.

“I cannot think of a more fitting person to take on this role, and I have full confidence that Scott will continue to enhance this practice area,” says Sam Poston, senior vice president and former corporate and shared services practice lead. “Our corporate and shared services practice is in good hands with Scott at the helm.” Mr. Poston will remain actively engaged in the firm’s management and operations.

Previous to joining ScottMadden, Manning led the consulting practice for Connor Partners, Inc., a change implementation and turnaround consulting firm, and worked as a consultant with William M. Mercer and Deloitte & Touche. Manning received his B.A. from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and his M.B.A. from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta.
