Authors Launch Ugliest Cat Contest for New Book Character on National Pet Day

Damon Plumides and Arthur Mark Boerke, authors of The Adventures of Caterwaul Cat: Feline Pie are having a contest to find the ugliest cat in America to include in their next book!

Plumides and Boerke are in the process of writing the second book in The Adventures of Caterwaul Cat series, which leads them to this search. Their book series, which is written for the 10- to 14-year-old market but is filled with subtle humor that makes a good read for adults as well, is filled with mischief and mayhem surrounding their main character Caterwaul Cat. The winning cat will receive a part in the new book, which is due to be released in 2013, and a professionally sketched, framed illustration of the cat signed by the authors and illustrator.
