Known by family and close friends Kiki "NQue" Lipscombe Matos-Joaquin, Washington DC Metro native; At the age of 3 NiQue had members of her grandfather’s, Dr. Bishop Leon G. Lipscomb’s Methodist church in Southeast Washington, DC,  shouting with tears of joy as she drew them in with her soulful powerhouse chords with hymns like “God Is” and “I had a talk with God” at the age of 12 NiQue discovered that her love for music went far beyond Gospel, but; it touched on R&B, Soul, Country, Rock and, Pop, NiQue realized she had the ability to write, produce, and arrange songs in the likeness of her visions and thoughts, she begin putting that vision on tape. Her creativity and ability to be versatile without comprising her soulful foundation has landed her major opportunities in NYC, LA, Las Vegas, Atlanta and over seas. NiQue brings a multi-dimensional approach to the music industry by refusing to be set by music's industrial rules, or being in a "box", clearly depicted by the title graphics on the cover of her debut album, NiQue integrates the capitol "Q" in her name with "Rulez" and a slash straight through as symbol of freedom for ALL artist that choose to be creative. “This album is my heart all on the line, I’m truly vulnerable right now” say’s the self proclaimed 25-4-life siren.
