Encinitas CA 1st Annual Arts Festival

April 13, 2012 - PRLog -- Learn about the impact of the arts on quality of life, health and wellness, science and technology, academic achievement and lifelong learning.

Located at the Encinitas Community & Senior Center, at 1141 Oakcrest Park Drive, Encinitas, CA  92024  the center will be transformed.

Attendees will experience:
1) Performances—student and professional performing artists in music, theatre and dance and other expressive arts on multiple stages
2) Performance Art—San Dieguito Academy high school artists will create a mural listening to jazz music, led by artist Ron Lemen
3) Visual Art Exhibition—view outstanding K-12 student art from public and private schools
4) Drum Circle—participate in a multi ring circle, presented by REMO Drum
5) Hands-on Art Workshops—for children and families, led by professional arts educators
6) Hands-on Dance Workshops—for children and families, led by professional dance instructors in all forms of dance
7) PTA Showcase—learn about the arts programs in schools
