May 2, 2012 - PRLog -- BEE CAVE, Texas. – Dr. Thomas Hogan has been named the Director of Physical Medicine at the soon to be constructed Hill Country Indoor Sports & Recreation Complex.  He is currently treating patients at temporary offices off Highway 2244 until his permanent facility is completed next spring.

“I am excited to assume this new role at what will be one of the premier sports training facilities in the Southwest, if not in the nation,” said Dr. Hogan.  “I look forward to working with not only professional athletes and those in training, but also those weekend athletes as well.”

Dr. Hogan’s clinic is designed to maximize the physical performance of both sports pros and amateurs.  In preparation for his new role, he transitioned his established practice and patient base into the new Hill Country Indoor Sports & Recreation Complex (HCI) and set a goal to expand his practice to truly be the premier sports focus medical practice in the area.

"We are building HCI to be a state-of-art facility for any individual even remotely interested in health or physical activity.  This facility is designed to vertically-integrate anything and everything related to fitness.  For that reason, we have picked the best of the best to be our Director of Physical Medicine, Dr. Thomas Hogan,” said Josh McKay, principle with HCI.  “He has an amazing talent for the human anatomy.  He is a long time athlete himself, truly cares about his patient’s health and is cutting-edge in his practice and methodology.  He is a valuable asset and we are excited to have him on our team.”

Additionally, Dr. Hogan has been working to acquire new certifications that will allow him to expand his service offering at HCI.  Known for over a decade as the local Doctor of Chiropractic medicine; Licensed Acupuncturist; Certified First Responder and Protect Your Back Instructor – he now will add include Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner making him a prehabilitation/rehabilitation specialist at the facility.

But ask Dr. Hogan what all his certifications mean and he will ultimately say that it allows him to provide better service to his patients.  “My patients are truly the focus of my practice and seeing them enjoy a better quality of life makes every day a great day for me,” Dr. Hogan said.

“When I first started using [Dr. Hogan’s service] over two years ago I could not stand up straight in the morning, was in constant pain and literally listed to one side,” said John Miterko, patient for nine years.  “Between acupuncture, chiropractic manipulation and most recently therapeutic massage, [he has] made it possible for me to enjoy a full range of movement while reducing, if not eliminating, the chronic back pain that I have lived with for over 40 years.”
