Four BQB authors will be traveling from different locations in the South to do book signings and interact with the event attendees. The following authors will be at the MCX beginning at 10:00 a.m. • Cody Jackson from Atlanta, Georgia, America’s One Boy USO and creator of and inspiration for Pint-Sized Patriots: Coloring and Activity Book • Kristi and Dr. Daniel Falk of Conway, South Carolina, authors of a children’s illustrated book focused on overall health and wellness, Eartha Gets Well • Keith Donaldson of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, brings entertainment and suspenseful reading for adults with his books, Rude Awakenings, a political thriller, and Death of an Intern, the first book in his murder mystery series • Terri Leidich of Roanoke, Virginia, the president of BQB Publishing, will also be present as an author with her nonfiction book From a Grieving Mother’s Heart Along with all of the events provided by the MCX, BQB Publishing will also provide activities: • Story times where various BQB children’s books will be read, including readings by Cody Jackson and Kristi or Dr. Daniel Falk • An activity table where children can complete a page from Cody’s Pint-Sized Patriots: Coloring and Activity Book: they can draw a picture for one of our brave military heroes overseas and write them a letter as well. Cody will collect the pages and include them in packages he sends to our troops overseas in the next couple of months. • A drawing project where children can draw and/or color some of the ways they can be healthy like Eartha. • A trivia game for adults to answer and be entered in a drawing for a BQB Publishing book of their choice.
