Because the maps are pre-loaded, you do not need an internet connection when using the app, as a GPS signal is all that’s required to calculate your current location in real time.

The iPhone 4S has plenty more to offer besides its capacities as a navigation device. The handset is renowned for its retina display, 8 megapixel camera and fast internet browsing speeds. It is also one of the most stylish smartphones on the market. It has a unique toughened glass finish, with an aluminium band which runs around the edge of the handset. This also doubles up as the phone's antenna.
