Comparing Features Of The HTC One X And iPhone 4S

In this post I'll assess a few key features of the Apple iPhone 4S with those of the brand new HTC One X, the manufacturer’s newest flagship device.



Screen

The most noticeable distinctions between the iPhone 4S and the HTC One X is the measurements of their screens. Given that the HTC One X is a much more recent smartphone, it has a quad-core processor chip. It has a 1.5GHz clock speed that provides it with practically incomparable performance which has benefits for several aspects of the handset's software and hardware alike. The iPhone 4S features a dual-core processor, which at the time of the handset's release was a rather appealing specification. The 1GHz A5 chip can also be used in the likes of the iPad 2, so its performance speaks for itself. Although this is not as hi spec as the processor of the One X, it still provides perfect performance, and is clearly a step up from its predecessor the iPhone 4.



Camera

The Apple iPhone 4S and the HTC One X share a resolution of 8 megapixels, along with the ability to capture videos in as much as 1080p which is of course full HD. Both cameras generate high quality still images and movies, but the One X boasts a selection of specifications which that of the Apple iPhone 4S does not have. Examples of these are the capability to take synchronised pictures and videos, as well as a function that snaps several continuous pictures, so you can then choose the best one to keep or share by social networking or messaging formats. Having said that, both handsets have many downloadable applications from their respective app libraries (AppStore and Google Play) within the photography category and many others.



Since the HTC One X is more recent, it has many more advanced specifications, however the Apple iPhone 5 is set to be released later on this year, and this is probably going to give the HTC One X and various other flagship smartphones a run for their money.
