•   Veteran Gujarati movie stars Rakesh Bedi & Rita Bhaduri visit Cinépolis to meet with their fans at a special screening of their upcoming movie!

Ahmedabad, June 14, 2012: Cinépolis, India's first International cinema chain and Ahmedabad’s leading multiplex today hosted an exclusive premier of the upcoming Gujarati blockbuster,’ Kevi Rite Jaish’. Leading actors from the movie, Rakesh Bedi, Rita Bhadhuri, Divyang Thakkar and Anang Desai visited the cinema and interacted with the patrons. This star studded event at Cinépolis left the entire audience enthralled.

On the occasion, Abhishek Bhandari - Unit Head, Cinépolis Ahmedabad said, “It’s our pleasure to host stars from Kevi Rite Jaish at Cinépolis. We believe the Amdavadis will truly relish the movie. It is our growing endeavor to bring in such stars to Cinepolis and give our patrons as many opportunities as possible to get close to their favorite stars and interact with them.”

Kevi Rite Jaish is a satire on the fascination, nay and obsession of the Patels - a Gujarati farmer community – migrating to the United States. Over the last half a century millions of Patels have migrated to the USA and have come to dominate its Motel industry by dint of hard work and persistence. This story revolves around one such Patel family and its uncounted tries to immigrate to The States.

The film was filmed with a RED Camera and shot in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This is the first time a RED Camera has been used in India for regional films.
