Exclusive One-on-One with Brady Wells of BEW and BDK

June 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Everybody goes to the events and talk for days about what a great time they have had in Las Vegas.  Hardly ever do they see the work and determination it takes to make that memory come to life.  We went in search for the top promoters in Las Vegas making major moves through underground, local and national venues.  When it comes to Urban Vegas there’s one man that stands out from the rest.  Brady Wells is a Community Leader in Las Vegas that has provided the best urban entertainment for locals and tourists for over 20 years.  As the Founder and Executive Chair of Business for (BEW) Business Entertainment West, Brady Wells is an employer and community volunteer bringing businesses and organizations together to inspire and develop economic growth and quality entertainment.  

How did you come up with BEW?

“I wanted to bring a group together that would be the B team.  After watching other groups such as Pure Management, the Light Group, N9NE Group and others, I became determined to be that B team for the urban community,” Brady Wells.  Some say, Why the B Team? And I simply answer LIVE NATION!  They are the elite of the goals and vision I have for the Las Vegas Community.”  

Was the task of the B Team easy?

“Prior to speaking with some of the other promoters, I realized my task wouldn’t be easy.  Trying to convince individuals that a TEAM working together could gain you checks weekly, instead of 1 per week, or 1 here and there; it only seemed fitting to discus and also logical.  I found that most of them had no validity as to why they have issues with one another and they all said the same thing about one another and yet they’ve never worked together.  I am hopeful it will happen some day, but until then I will just stay in my lane.”  

Brady is well known throughout Las Vegas for promoting some of the hottest urban nightclubs outside of the strip that include The Bomb Nightclub, The Hop, Shooters Nightclub, The Drink, Caribbean Cabana, Xclusive Ultra Lounge & Café, LVH Theatre, Hard Rock Café, Alexis Park and many more.  Brady has brought top list artist to perform and appearances throughout Vegas and has set 2012 Summer off to a sizzling start with artists like Too Short, E40, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Genuine, and kicking off the summer with Dru Hill with Comedy Guests George Willborn and more.  

What’s next for Brady Wells and BEW?  

“This weekend’s Luv & Laughter Las Vegas brings comedy and R&B together on one stage at the LVH June 23.  Next Month the 6th Annual ALL WHITE PARTY hosted by Twix ENT, August we have KEM coming and September we will be celebrating my business partner Twix’s Birthday and ALL BLACK PARTY and our BDK Organization.  So we got a summer of madness lined up and expect all our local and national friends to be there.  This Halloween we are hosting a party and are gearing up to blast off the New Years 2013 with a Big Bang.”  
 
Brady is the co-founder of Xclusive Management & Xclusive Inc. with Robert “Twix” Taylor, Maggie Zapate, John “JBz” Banks and Daron Nixon.  Brady is also Vice President of Quality Communications Inc. where he works with Rob Huber, Melinda Huber and Mary Wells.  He’s been in the communications industry for over 22 years and currently has over 70 employees and hires about 22 employees a year.  As Co Founder of the neighborHOOD Family Reunion with William “B Boy” Hill, they celebrated their 5th annual celebration this may with over 700 community family and friends.  In their 2nd year they topped records of 1300 and each year gets more intimate.  They gave away 10 bikes to the kids as well as prizes, gift cards, had jumpers, relay races, musical chairs for the adults and mostly the kids.  It was very expensive but that’s what they do and all the adults that support and participate for their events are also pay for the event admission.  The committee pays dues and raise funds to ensure its success and constant resources available for all their events.  


What other things have you done for the community of Las Vegas?

“I’m involved with Youth Sports like T-Ball, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Pop Warner, NYFL and currently assistant head coach for the SYFLV (Snoop Youth Football League Las Vegas) team the Texans Clinic Division.  I work aside Texans League President and Coach Mr. Easley and head coach of the clinic division Mr. Henry Lovely.  I am involved with charity organizations like TD Jakes, Mountain Top Faith, Shade Tree, Belly Busters 702 and Cox Communications.  I am a mentor and attendee to our youth for guidance and leadership skills to be productive and I hope to open my own program within the next 3 years.”

What motivates your dedication to your community?

“I have been a husband for 18 years with the same partner for 25 years.  Raising a family together is PRICELESS!  We have two children ages 15 and 21 and everyday my motto is I’m still here!  We are a member of Mountain Top Faith Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Clinton House and First Lady Mary House.”

Brady Wells has not only set examples for his community, he has also led by them as well.  There’s not a stone unturned in this valley where people don’t know his name or recognize his face.  He has been the trend setter for urban Vegas and continues to make monumental moves.  The future looks bright for Brady Wells, BEW and BDK.  Keep an eye and ear out for more stellar events and promotions for years to come!
