World's First Top Notch R&B Album Created On Iphone.

July 3, 2012 - PRLog -- New York, July 04, 2012 – Planning a USO Musical Tour to far off war zones in the middle east (Bahrain and Afghanistan) and creating a new Album simultaneously is one mean feat.  But that is exactly what Latin Soul Artist LUGO has done.  Utilizing the iPhone and handy App from well known musical instrument company KORG, LUGO was able to create on the go a quality musical Album full of Jazzy, Hip Hop and R&B laced masterworks.

“This year, I wanted to create something original and of quality.  People are amazed when I tell then it was done on an iPhone.”  LUGO states.  Technology and music go hand and hand.  Having Recorded with Lady Gaga’s Producer Rob Fusari and Christina Auguillers’s producer Bob Brockman, LUGO was always tied down to studios and big Instruments, keyboards and synths.  Today all the instruments come built into my iPhone.  This App has every quality sound from drums, keyboards, horns and guitars to basses and programmable theremin samples.  LUGO warns “I compose wherever I am.  I don’t take the subway but walk instead in order to get more production time.  Of course there is an element of danger zoning out in the middle of the street, creating music with headphones on.  Cabs and buses miss me by this much.”  LUGO composed all the music on the iPhone using KORG’s Konfabulator App.  All the songs are Up or mid tempo and deeply inspirational.  Songs like “Devil in Church” stand out because it speaks of inner love and acceptance of yourself as apposed to self doubt and denial.  You are the church and the devil is your own self doubt.  “Sunshine” The title track is nothing but pure fun. A song based on Joy amid the storm.  And “Happy Birthday” is a mélange of every birthday song ever created "It's your birthday, Happy Birthday.  You can be whatever age you want.  Yeah! Its your birthday, Happy Birthday! How many times you been round the sun?  who cares!"  Anti ageist fun for all ages.  LUGO is known for collaborating with Norman Brown on his Neo soul Grammy winning Album Feat. Michael MacDonald and Chante More.  LUGO is looking forward to the next USO tour but this time during peacetime.

When not composing or performing, LUGO a Broadway Actor in the Paul Simon Musical “The Capeman” with Marc Anthony, LUGO Teaches music at Helrad Square’s Future Star Studios preparing young children for a life in the Arts.  LUGO is the nephew of Icon Roberto Clemente.
