July 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Syoncloud released Syoncloud Logs 0.3 log processing software as an open source. It enables to capture business relevant information from everyday log files generated by web servers, business applications and back office applications.
Key features are:
Installer that includes components such as Hadoop, Flume, HBase, Syoncloud HBase web client and Zookeeper.
It uses small footprint Apache Flume sinks that run on the machines that produce log files.
HBase NoSQL scalable database is used for actual analysis and reporting.
Syoncloud HBase Client is web user interface with tree view of tables and column families linked to grid of data.
