Memorial Hospital of Union County Partners with Pain Management Group to Open Pain Clinic

July 15, 2012 - PRLog -- MARYSVILLE, OH — Memorial Hospital of Union County and Pain Management Group (PMG), the leading developer of hospital-based, primary care pain management centers in the Great Lakes region, announce today a partnership to bring balanced pain management care to Marysville, OH. The pain clinic is scheduled to open July 19, 2012.

The new relationship provides Memorial Hospital the ability to maximize available resources and provide comprehensive pain management services to the community.

The Memorial Hospital Pain Management Clinic will offer treatment for a variety of conditions including neck and back pain, headaches, fibromyalgia, chronic pelvic pain, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD), nerve damage, as well as pain associated with arthritis, muscle spasms and shingles.

Amish R. Patel, DO, MPH, will be the lead physician at the clinic. Dr. Patel is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He received his medical degree at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He completed his residency at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio, his internship at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Elwood, Ind., and his fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Penn Spine Center in Philadelphia, Pa.
