July 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Macomb, MI - Three EOTTS with HyProCure® procedures were recently performed in Italy, intiating the device into the country. Three surgeons, Prof. La Rosa of “Bambino Gesu,” the Vatican’s Pediatric Hospital in Rome, Prof. Giglio and MD Offiano each offered this revolutionary treatment option to their patients.

Talotarsal displacement is a foot imbalance that throws both the foot and the entire body out of alignment. It affects people of all ages and is often the direct cause of many symptoms and secondary conditions, including overpronation/hyperpronation, bunions, plantar fasciitis, knee pain, hip pain, back pain, and even problems in the neck and shoulders.

Other devices for the treatment of partial talotarsal dislocation have been available to the Italian people, however, these other devices have more limitations and less research to support their ability to effectively help improve secondary conditions. The introduction and acceptance of HyProCure® marks the availablility of a truly superior treatment option. The HyProCure® device instantly stabilizes the hindfoot bones, stopping the continued trauma to the foot and body, and possibly leading to the reversal of associated effects. HyProCure® represents a real solution for patients suffering from this condition.

Working with physicians and local distributors on nearly every continent,
GraMedica® strives to educate foot and ankle professionals on the importance of stabilizing the talotarsal mechanism. “I am happy to start this collaboration,” exclaimed Gabriele Natali, Italian HyProCure® Distributor, “we will be working very hard and have set goals for the next two years.”
