Follow on Google News | Gospel Recording Artist Brandon Johnson Named Greater Sound Records VP of A&RJust weeks after being named Hip-Hop/Urban Artist of the Year at the 2012 Gospel Blue MIC Awards, recording artist Brandon Johnson is celebrating another honor: Vice-President of A&R for Greater Sound Records.
By: Nebo Publishing It is no doubt that this has been something in the making since Johnson was a child growing up. Through each area of his music ministry he has shown himself equipped to reveal the realness of God and His Word to individuals of all generations. Charles Clark believes that the course Brandon has blazed for himself is one that he can help artists at the label to benefit from and use as a model for what is possible for them. Brandon (or B-Luv as some have come to know him) has been to local radio stations, ministered at fundraisers, and many youth services, conferences and camp retreats in the Tri-State Area. He was featured on 98.7 Kiss Inspirations, 1190 WLIB, with Pastor Hezekiah Walker. He has also opened up and shared the stage with artists such as Da T.R.U.T.H., Marvin Winans Jr, Brother Hahz, Tye Tribbett, JJ Hariston & Youthful Praise, Richie Righteous, Donnie McClurkin, I.R.O.C.C. TWyse, Jon Gibson, William McDowell, and Canton Jones. What he has learned from these artists and others is what he wants to share with those looking to use the platform of Gospel to minister to the masses.
