PRS Investment Advisory Names Benjamin Hein President

Aug. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- MIAMI – PRS Investment Advisory (PRS), South Florida’s boutique Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), announces the promotion of Benjamin Hein to the position of President. Hein previously served as Chief Investment Officer and was responsible for the management of the firm’s investment vehicles and the construction of client investment portfolios for the past five years.

“It was my pleasure to recommend Benjamin for this leadership position to our Swiss parent company,” said Gonzalo Rodriguez-Fraile, founder of PRS and Chairman of the Board. “We wanted to promote from within, and we knew when we first hired Benjamin that he had the drive and talent to rise quickly in our firm.”

Hein holds degrees from Columbia University and John’s Hopkins University.  His professional credentials include Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM.   He is also fluent in German, Portuguese, and Spanish.  Mr. Hein formerly held investment positions at SunTrust and John Hancock Advisors.  

At this same time, PRS Investment Advisory announces the hiring of Matthew Valeri as a Portfolio Manager at PRS Investment Advisory.  Mr. Valeri was formerly with the Securities and Exchange Commission in its Miami office where he audited investment companies and hedge funds.  He holds a degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.  Mr. Valeri formerly held positions at Franklin Templeton Investments and Charles River Development.  

PRS Investment Advisory also announces the promotion of Jessie Lopez to the role of Portfolio Analyst.  Mr. Lopez started at PRS three years ago in PRS’ operations department focusing on PRS’ trust statements and the link with the investment department.  He holds a degree from the University of South Florida and was formerly employed by Franklin Templeton’s Global Equity Research and Portfolio Management Group.  Mr. Lopez is also fluent in French and Spanish.
