Greate Bay Country Club Names James Cross as Restaurant Chef

Cross brings more than 20 years of experience in casino hotels and restaurants to his new role, including Restaurant Chef of the Oaks Steakhouse as well as former owner of the Crossfire Grill in Egg Harbor Township and Chef at various restaurants in Atlantic City.

The New Jersey native said that he jumped at the opportunity to work at Greate Bay, a facility known in the region for its good food and innovative menus.

“I heard good things about Greate Bay, and I was excited to work with Chefs Carmody and Hibbs,” Cross said. “The country club’s reputation is first-class as a Jersey Shore destination that provides a memorable guest experience. I feel privileged to be part of this team.”

Chef Michael Carmody said that Cross’s background in area restaurants and casino hotels enhances the dining experience at Greate Bay. “Jim has strong experience and creativity, and we look forward to utilizing his unique skills at the restaurant.”
