Digital Out-of-Home Entertainments Conference Gains Momentum

After the summer break, and the buildup grows for the ground breaking US event for the Digital Out-of-Home Interactive Entertainment. The list of speakers boasts some of the leading names in the emerging sector (both developing for and operating in).

Aug. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- With just over six weeks to go towards holding the first American version of the DNA Conference program - the event organizers have ramped up to meet the strong interest in a gathering of the leaders and investors in the emergence of the Digital Out-of-Home Entertainment (DOE) sector. The DNA US Conference 2012, taking place in October, has been able to gather a momentous group of presenters that are driving development in this industry.

New additions to the roster of support for the Los Angeles conference - taking place between the 2nd and 3rd of October 2012 - the 'Augmented Reality's Next Stage in Leisure Facilities' panel session sees representation from d'strict - a company famous for their work on the LivePark 4D project in South Korea, and a wealth of experience developing "the world's first 4D Theme Park". The conference not only focuses on the hardware and development but also the deployment.

Adding their support to the DNA US Conference - the 'New Models of Interactivity in Movie Theaters' panel session is supported by leaders in this important field of deployment, including representation from Timeplay Entertainment; other sessions will also see representatives of Kidzania, Palace Entertainment, and Six Flags Theme Parks; imparting their wealth of experience in taking the applications of 4D, 5D and new immersive attractions from concept to deployment; alongside others in the field such as from powerhouse AlterFace.

The Los Angeles conference has seen major support from those companies driving the application of technology - event sponsor and panel session presenter TrioTech will speak at the first part of the '3D Interactive Experiences in Public Places' session; illustrating how they see the move towards the next generation of experience in the DOE sector. The importance of technology in driving the digital interactive entertainment experience is illustrated by the number of high profile developers participating in the event - including GestureTek, one of the prominent corporations powering future applications of immersive entertainment.

The DNA US Conference marks a brand new departure in the way those attending interact with the event - thanks to a partnership with industry leaders CORE Cashless, offering an important development in delegate registration, the online ticket sales includes management of event activities through a special QR Code social media network sported by every badge, facilitating networking between the attendees. The conference organizers have also partnered with marketing veteran Bob Cooney, whose company will undertake interviews during the day with those presenting and moderating to create a comprehensive series of Podcasts that will be circulated after the conference.

But the DNA Conference format is not all about hard work - the event organizers are proud to see Gameworks LLC come on board as a supporter of the inaugural conference, and with their support offer a fantastic and unique location for the events VIP Reception on the first night. Taking place at Jillian's Universal City Walk, the food & entertainment venue will be thrown open to delegates and guests to experience the reality of the latest Digital Out-of-Home Entertainment experience and how it fits into the food and fun business model.
