By: Applebee's Throughout the month of October, Applebee’s will host a Komen Running Ribbon Campaign, allowing guests to donate $1 or more for the Komen Central Valley affiliate. In addition, Applebee’s will host a Dining to Donate all-day event on Oct. 20, in which 20 percent of each guest’s bill will be donated to Komen Central Valley. The Dining to Donate flyer for Komen Central Valley must be presented at the time of purchase. Between Sept. 11 and Sept. 25, every registered race participant who raises $150 in online donations will be entered to win a $100 Applebee’s gift card. Donations must be made directly to the race participant. A total of seven winners will be chosen the week of Sept. 25, Oct. 8 and Oct. 19. Those who have already raised more than $150 online will be measured on how much their funds increase through Sept. 25. Winners of the Applebee’s gift cards will be announced on Komen Central Valley’s Facebook page. Friends, family and fans of Applebee’s are encouraged to donate to the Central Valley Race for the Cure. For more information on Susan G.
