WE Care For Our Own® Celebrity Committee Members Are Coming Out to Celebrate and Support
the Residents in the Re-Opened MPTF Hospital

Beverly Hills- Oscar nominated and Emmy Winning actors and writers Renee Taylor( Happily Divorced, The Nanny) and Joe Bologna (NCIS) will host the 2nd Annual We Care For Own® Garden Party Luncheon, Live and Silent auction, Memorabilia Sale for the benefit of the residents of the MPTF's Country House Fund on Saturday September 29th in Beverly Hills. Proceeds will help the residents at the Wasserman Retirement Community in Woodland Hills to cover care and living expenses as well as costs associated with general comfort and well-being of the residents.

There will be hundreds of celebrity memorabilia items for auction and sale with price ranges for everyone. Last year Barbara Eden donated her bottle from the I Dream of Jeannie hit TV show. This year's fun celebrity donations include Rita Wilson and Tom Hank's donation of an autographed"Wilson", the infamous original volley ball face from his hit film Castaway, Ed Harris' donation of a signed hat from A Beautiful Mind, Ray Romano's donation of 2 tickets to his Las Vegas Show and 2 nights at The Mirage Hotel & Casino, Mario A.C. Della Casa's genie bottles signed by Barbara Eden, Larry Hagman and Bill Daily. Barbara Streisand portrait, Lou Ferrigno's Hulk memorabilia, museum quality watercolor portraits of Cary Grant, Marlena Dietrich, Tyrone Power, Robert Mitchum, -also Renee Taylor's Diana Vreeland jewelry collection , Diane Ladd autographing her new book, John Schneider autographing Dukes of Hazard posters, and so much more. This year, as last, celebrities were asked to bring items to donate to the auction item. There will be vendors from the Emmy suite parties who have come on aboard for the cause.

The hard and generous efforts of everyone on the board of this event, was instrumental in lobbying to keep the MPTF Long Term care facility in Woodland Hills open. The 2 year difference-of-opinion, finally ended last year. Renee Taylor and Joe Bologna have been at the forefront of helping residents to help cover some of their living expenses. " Everyone of us are eligible to retire to the MPTF Home and Long Term Care Hospital. We are all positive for the future and happy to provide funds for the residents by supporting MPTF", said event producer Renee Taylor.

The garden party will include Petrossian Caviar®, the event's title sponsor and a gourmet lunch will be served with the price of tax deductible admission.  Ticket information for the public can be found in the attachment.  To celebrities and actors- This is an emergency fundraiser.
