SBA & U.S. Black Chamber Use My Business Matches™ At 8(a) Training, Business Matchmaking, & Awards

Oct. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- SAN ANTONIO, TX (October 15, 2012) The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the U.S. Black Chamber recently used My Business Matches™ (MBM) to execute the business matchmaker at the National 8(a) Training, Business Matchmaker, and Awards Ceremony held on October 10, 2012 in Washington, DC at the Carnegie Library.

The successful Business Matchmaker brought together government and prime agencies with 8(a) and small disadvantaged businesses to discuss joint ventures, subcontracting, and procurement opportunities. Over 100 face-to-face meetings occurred.

Aside from the business matchmaker, the event taught small businesses how to market themselves to the federal government, how to go after federal contracting opportunities and how to grow businesses and complete in today’s market.
