Palm Coast, FL – Flagler Dental is excited to announce they are now offering Silent Nite® Slide-Link.

An estimated 90 million Americans snore at night, 160 million more are negatively affected by snoring. Prolonged snoring, in which asphyxiation lasts longer than 10 seconds, is considered Obstructive Sleep Apnea and has severe long-term health effects.

Flagler Dental Associates is now offering the Silent Nite® Slide-Link device to patients who struggle with sleep apnea and snoring. It’s been documented to have actually helped prevent the disruptive pattern of snoring in patients.

“The device is a comfortable mouthpiece,” says Dr. Ryan Smith. “I’ve tested it on myself, and my wife can assure you that it works,” he added.

Silent Nite® Slide-Link works by shifting the lower jaw of the patient forward, to allow for more space in the airway. This decreases the occurrence of soft tissue vibration. The device is specifically modeled and fit according to the patient’s mouth and the transparent Silent Nite® Slide-Link still allows for small movements of the jaw and unobstructed oral breathing.
