Trinity Christian Academy Hosts Dr Pepper/Snapple Group Golf + Tennis Tournament

Oct. 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Trinity Christian Academy (http://www.trinitychristian.org/podium/default.aspx?t=152362) (TCA) will host its Dr Pepper/Snapple Group Golf + Tennis Tournament on Monday, November 5 at Bent Tree Country Club in Dallas. Last year’s tournament raised more than $155,000 in support of TCA’s Student Tuition Aid (STA) program.

“TCA is pleased to once again host the popular Golf + Tennis Tournament, along with Dr Pepper/Snapple Group in support of the Student Tuition Aid program,” said TCA Headmaster Dave Delph. “Providing students of all socio-economic statuses an opportunity to receive a Christian-centered, college-preparatory education is core to TCA’s mission, and we are excited so many businesses and community members participate in our tournament to support this goal.”

Since 1970, TCA has raised funds to provide philanthropic support for the essential needs of TCA. Through a wide range of fundraising events and opportunities, TCA donors are united by a single, simple passion: to serve and educate students who will make a difference in the world for Christ. STA exists to help current families in need, families in crisis, and families who otherwise would not be able to afford to attend TCA.

The tennis tournament begins at 9 a.m., and the golf tournament begins at noon. Registration for the golf tournament is currently full. To register for the tennis tournament, contact Beth Harwell, TCA’s special events coordinator, at bharwell@trinitychristian.org.
