With a desire to help those in need for what has been a difficult year for many, Kenny Pugh and Lowell Pye wanted to do something that would be impactful and uplifting for a city that has been hit hard by hard economic times. Kenny Pugh is an Associate Minister of Elizabeth Baptist Church and the Founder of M.A.C.S Ministries, a group that organizes the efforts of thousands of single adults from churches across Atlanta and is known for his philanthropic leadership within metro communities feeding the homeless, providing clothing for those less fortunate and offering counseling services to help those who have fallen astray get back on the right track. For over 20 years, Lowell has been perfecting his gift through ministry. He is a 2011 Dove Award nominee and has toured with industry greats, such as Fred Hammond, Donnie McClurkin, Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams and a host of others. With chart topping hits including, “Mighty Long Way” Lowell has been featured and appeared on more than 25 gospel albums.
