EnglishEdge Portable Language Lab wins the “Most Innovative Bundled Service”

Nov. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- 9th November, 2012: EnglishEdge Portable Language Lab was honored with the prestigious Aegis Graham Bell Award for the “Most Innovative Bundled Service” at the ceremony conducted in New Delhi on 1st of November, 2012. The awards are India’s largest and only awards in the field of TIME (Telecom, Internet, Media and Edutainment) and are aimed at promoting innovation, entrepreneurship and to recognize outstanding contributions.

EnglishEdge has always aimed at making English language learning more effective with the use of technology. The Portable Language Lab is another pioneering initiative aimed at redefining the way English language learning takes place inside and outside the classrooms.

The EnglishEdge Portable Language Lab comprises of a compact trolley that can house up to 40 tablets, a Wi-Fi router and a projector. The tablets are preloaded with the EnglishEdge software that is specially designed to complement the teaching-learning process in schools. This specially designed course ensures that every student gets ten times more speaking practice than in a traditional classroom setup. The Lab enables the trainer to monitor the performance of every student and the two-way, real time interaction results in better learning and performance review. The digital technology – powered solution makes for an engaging, interesting and experiential form of teaching and learning. The innovative learning model has been lauded by the industry with nominations in several other awards as well.
