Homebuilder creates new playing field for Long Eaton school

Nov. 21, 2012 - PRLog -- Davidsons Homes have created green space next to their ‘Grange Meadows’ development on Nottingham Road, Long Eaton to be used as a new playing field for Grange Primary School. The space has made a big difference.Previously the pupils nearest area where they could play sports was a 10 minute walk away.

James Wilson, Managing Director of Davidsons Homes, Mike Hannon, Head Teacher of Grange Primary School, along with staff and pupils took part in the official handover.

Mr Hannon said “Having a new playing field right next to the school is marvellous. Davidsons have done a great job. The open space and landscaping looks very impressive and the pupils are already putting it to good use”.

Mr Wilson said "We always aim to work with the local community wherever we build, and this was a great one to be involved in. It seems particularly appropriate in Olympic year - it's good news that it's now much easier for the children to play sports".

Currently 'Grange Meadows' has 3 and 4 bedroom homes available, with prices ranging from £119,995 to £269,995. The development has proved very popular and over 75% of the homes are now sold.
