It starts January 14 and runs through April 29, 2013, on Monday nights, between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m at the Pittsboro / Chatham County campus of Central Carolina Community College. Social Media Management Certificate Program Instructors The course developers and instructors are Anora McGaha and Martin Brossman, who are based in central North Carolina. Together they co-authored Social Media for Business, an anthology geared to small and micro businesses, professionals and non-profits, that included chapters by twenty North Carolina professionals active in social media and Internet marketing. The Social Media Management Certificate Program at CCCC.edu is the fourth social media training program for business / non-profits that Martin Brossman has led, and the 2nd one for Anora McGaha. Prior classroom-based trainings have included a 30 hour / 10 week training program, and a 9 hour 3 week training held at Wake Tech Community College. In addition to the these, McGaha and Brossman developed a 13 module online training in 2012, called Social Media Manager Training, with videos, readings and exercises, that will be available on Instancy's training and education platform in 2013. Focus of the Four Month Certificate Program The focus of four month spring Social Media Management Certificate Program is applied social media: how to know what to do, what to do, and how to do it creatively, efficiently, effectively and for the best return on investment and effort.
