Creation of Bernal Foundation - Fundacion Bernal

New York, December 21, 2012. In commemoration of the arrival to the American continent 500 years ago, in 1514, of Bernal Diaz del Castillo, Bernal Foundation will be created in New york, and its pair, the Fundacion Bernal, in Guatemala. Bernal Diaz del Castillo was one of the first governors of Guatemala, and is buried at the cathedral of Antigua Guatemala. As a Historian, he wrote “The Truthful History of the Conquest of New Spain”, book that for its importance in the description, as a primary, direct source, of one of the most important events of our history, is considered at the height of “Don Quixote”. (“New Spain” is Mexico).  

The essential characteristic of Bernal Foundation (Fundacion Bernal) is that in addition to funds to be obtained as donations, via the companies Bernal Express and Bernal Films, to be incorporated in the State of New York, will have economic activities to generate the funds required to cover its social programs.    

Bernal Foundation (Fundacion Bernal) will assist in the United States, to Central American migrants, and in Central America and the south of Mexico (Mesoamerica), to families that were affected by natural disasters.    

To obtain initial funds, Bernal Foundation  (Fundacion Bernal has published the book “La Metamorfosis del Quetzal”, written by Alberto Herrera Guzman, which contains reflections about the consequences of the fratricidal wars that devastated the Central American region during the last years of the XX Century, that resulted in more than 350,000 deaths, and that created the massive migration (5 million) of Central Americans to the United States.

As a second source of funds, Bernal Foundation (Fundacion Bernal), via Bernal Films, will produce the film “Rupturian”, where the thesis is presented that the advanced Mayan knowledge comes from an alien civilization.
