Written by award winning screenwriter, Kathy Krantz Stewart, the script is based on Robert G. Pielke’s provocative book, A New Birth of Freedom: The Visitor (the first part of a time-travel, alternate-history, double-first-contact trilogy).

Pielke is a native of Baltimore, Maryland, has lived in Gettysburg and now lives in Claremont, California. With a Ph. D. in Social Ethics from the Claremont Graduate School, he taught ethics and logic many years at George Mason University and at El Camino College in California. In addition to his academic writings, he has published short stories, feature articles and film reviews. His books include the savagely satirical, Hitler the Cat Goes West, and an alternate history, alien contact novel, The Mission. Most recently, he has published Rock Music in American Culture: The Sounds of Revolution and is now in the midst of his science fiction trilogy.
