Impression Bridal partners with Brides Across America for national Groupon campaign, which launches Thursday, February 21st, 2013.
 
Feb. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- [Georgetown, Ma] - Brides Across America and Groupon Grassroots the philanthropic arm of Groupon, announce the launch of a local campaign to provide wedding gowns to military brides.  If 70 People Donate $10, then Brides Across America can provide two wedding gowns for Military brides.

Brides Across America’s campaign will be available on Groupon Grassroot’s page beginning on Thursday, February 21st to Wednesday, February 27th. Utilizing Grassroot’s collective action model, Groupon subscribers can pledge support for Brides Across America’s gown giveaway in increments of $10 dollars. With each donation, Brides Across America has the opportunity to select wedding gowns in underrepresented gown sizes.

With each monetary donation, Brides Across America will be to purchase wedding dresses for military brides. Many dresses donated to Brides Across America are sample and overstock dresses in a variety of sizes, but often sizes on the smaller and larger ends of the spectrum, are underrepresented.  In order to provide dresses for brides of all sizes, Brides Across America must purchase additional dresses to fill in the gaps when donations run low.

About Impression Bridal

Impression Bridal Store has decided to partner with Brides Across America as a matching donor for the upcoming Groupon Campaign. Impression Bridal was founded in 1986 and has been a long-time supporter of the military. Impression Bridals has been a helping and exciting partner to the Brides Across America organization since 2007.

100% percent of the Grassroot campaign proceeds will be used to purchase wedding gowns for military brides.

Brides Across America is nationwide nonprofit organization focusing on providing free wedding gowns to those military brides that have not been able to have their dream wedding. To date Brides Across America has given away 8000 wedding gowns with the support of bridal salons nationwide.
