Acclaimed writer K.W. Bowlin releases new collection of short stories: "Living and Dying in Shorts."

Award Winning Singer/Songwriter K.W. Bowlin has published his second novel titled "Living and Dying in Shorts." It's a collection 24 short stories that examine life and death in family dramas, drug addiction, dark humor and historical adventures.

Bowlin, award winning singer/songwriter has just released a collection of 24 literary short stories titled “Living and Dying in Shorts.” The fictional tales consist of family dramas, drug addiction, dark humor, and some historical adventure that provide a look into the unique, inescapable, and irreducible features of being human. The publisher is Booklocker Ltd., and being distributed worldwide through Ingram Distribution.

After retiring from the music business where his band, “The Kelly Bowlin Band” won the 2006 Southern California Music Award for “Best Roots Rock” and having toured with the likes of Dwight Yoakam, Junior Brown, Marshal Tucker, and performed with Buddy Guy, The Spin Doctors and Soul Asylum, Bowlin published his first fiction novel, “The Mosquito Sting” about the largest philanthropic counterfeit operation the world has ever seen. It is currently available at Barnes and Noble, Kindle and Amazon Books.

Bowlin is currently scheduling a four state promotional tour in Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico and California. He lives and writes in the small town of Cripple Creek Colorado and is married with four children and a grandson and granddaughter.
