Follow on Google News | Living Streams Church “Clothes Closet” Helps Families With Free ClothingThe Clothes Closet, a nonprofit organization will give away clothing to assist families. Living Streams Church, Pastor Trish Sinclair, started the Clothes Closet. She has been collecting clothes for two years.
Living Streams Church will host the “Clothes Closet Giveaway” at Woodland Park Middle School, 600 E Kelly Rd, Woodland Park, CO. Families are encouraged to take home as many clothes as possible during the event between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. “The Clothes Closet provides clothing from donations as a free service for disadvantaged families,” said Pastor Trish Sinclair. “We had all this clothing – bags of clothing – and there is absolutely no reason these clothes sitting in storage any longer,” Pastor Sinclair said. “So we are having this giveaway to make sure the Pike’s Peak community is able to come in, find some nice clothing for themselves and their families.” Pastor Sinclair has been collecting clothes for more than two years for all seasons. The clothes have been washed, sewed and dry-cleaned. “We are looking for a permanent location with reasonable or rent-free to provide the space where we can provide the donations we have received to give back to the community,” she said. “However, we have run out of storage space at this time and need to host this free event.” Sinclair is also accepting cash or clothes donations to provide services for low-income families in the future.
