By: House of Music & Entertainment The show covers three key stages of the Beatles. It will begin in the height of Beatlemania as the group recreates the look and feel of the famous performance on the Ed Sullivan Show, playing early hits like “I Want to Hold Your Hand” and “Twist and Shout.” Next, you’ll hear from Sergeant Peppers and Magical Mystery Tour with psychedelic flair. Finally, the show wraps up with the later years of the Beatles with classics from The White Album, Abbey Road, and Let It Be. American English is made up of Frank Canino as John Lennon, Eric Michaels as Paul McCartney, James Paul Lynch as George Harrison, Tom Gable as Ringo Starr, and Ken Zemanek as George Martin. Zemanek is a key ingredient to American English’s recreation of the Beatles sound by performing the orchestration and psychedelic effects live without the use of any tapes. Since their inception, American English has achieved success all around the world from America to Japan. They were named Illinois entertainer of the year and Best Tribute Band by Chicagoland fans several times. American English has played in Liverpool to over 50,000 Beatles fans, played with original Beatles drummer Pete Best and Wings co-founder Denny Laine, and even won over original Beatles promoter Sam Leach who now helps to promote the group.
