PITTSBURGH - March 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Kirk Smith comes to Tutela from device manufacturer, OPTI Medical, where he sold blood gas analyzers to the healthcare industry.  With his background in both direct and distribution sales models, Kirk helped OPTI Medical transition to a distribution model.

Kirk has twelve years of medical sales experience and has worked for two Fortune 500’s:  AstraZeneca and Corning, Inc.  Kirk has attained many awards, including Rep of the Year and Customer Solutions Champion.  His competitive nature comes from a sports background, having played elite-level ice hockey, and even working with Easton Sports as a pro rep for the NHL.

Kirk comes from a family of doctors and enjoys working in the medical space.  He brings a diverse wealth of knowledge to Tutela, and looks forward to getting on board.
