Project Management: Looking After Valuable Staff

Once they are identified, it is very important to build relationships with these people, know what they need, know what they want and what gives them a hard time within the project. Also, check their workload, it could be either very light that’s why they slack or too heavy that’s why they procrastinate.

Once everything is done, understanding their position is vital, the PM should put himself in their shoes and feel their hunger within the project; maybe giving them awards or recognitions for every good thing would raise their confidence or anything that would recognize their existence and tell them that they are an important part of the team.
