Shriram Automall India Limited inaugurates Automall in Davangere, Karnataka

DAVANGERE, India - March 28, 2013 - PRLog -- Davangere, March 14, 2013: Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL) inaugurated its 20th full-fledged Automall facility today, in Davangere, Karnataka. By the virtue of its location, a prime spot at Doddabathi in Davangere, the Automall commands attention from one & all.  The new facility was launched by the Chief Guest, Mr. Sameer Malhotra, CEO, Shriram Automall India Limited. Mr. Sudarshan Holla, Executive Director CEO- South Zone, Shriram Transport Finance Company Limited graced the occasion as the special guest.

Spreading over two lakh square feet space, the facility offers an entire gamut of services ranging from asset acquisition & disposal to repair & refurbishing of the vehicles. Apart from serving as transaction platform, Automall shall also assist the traders with easy financing and insurance options, as well as provide parking facility & assistance with documentation & compliance. Rest rooms for travel-fatigued drivers and cleaners are also offered as an add-on facility. The auto mall facility will be further utilised for holding bidding events periodically.  

Inaugurating state of the art Automall earlier in the day, Mr. Sameer Malhotra, CEO, Shriram Automall India Limited  said, “With this new Automall, we have taken a step further to create a unique & transparent transaction platform, to endow our customers with a never before experience. We aim to put an end to the unreliable practices prevalent in pre-owned vehicle transactions by cultivating organized vehicle-trading mechanism. The inauguration was followed by a grand physical bidding of a plethora of vehicles and equipments which were inspected in person by the participants. The customers also experienced the two new initiatives, Shriram One Stop & Shriram New Look. While One Stop is a computerized touch screen kiosk which is a virtual Truck Bazaar, providing real time information about used commercial vehicles available for sale, Newlook offers refurbished pre-owned commercial vehicles that are put on display for purchase along with inbuilt financing options.
