Stolen Valor or Hard Working Disabled Veteran

There are two persons who have the same name. One person from NJ is being blogged as a phony by many people, there is a photo of him in uniform, with unearned awards (Stolen Valor), and the other person is in OR who owns and runs an IT company.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - March 29, 2013 - PRLog -- So here is the dilemma: when a prospective client Google's the person's name, there are many links to the one from NJ and unless one could see a photo of the person in OR, they could easily assume that this person in NJ is the person in OR, and who would do business with that person?

In this age of technology most people look at the very first links that display in Google search and then only for a few seconds. Because the company in OR can repair computers remotely, and they can repair a computer anywhere as long as the computer can connect to the Internet (if it can't then they instruct on how to connect).

Now the person from Oregon, because of the actions of the person in New Jersey, Is losing potential clients, and receiving hate mail.

I'll start with a little about the person from OR. He served in the United States Army from 1982 to 1990 with a break in service when He served in the Oregon Army National Guard, so he has one Honorable Discharge from the National Guard and two Honorable Discharges from the Regular Army the last was a medical discharge for injury sustained in the line of duty (No purple heart).

His disability percentage allowed him to go to college under the Veterans Administration's chapter 31 vocational rehabilitation program, and he received his Bachelor of Science in management of information systems, when he graduated the economy was failing and Jobs are difficult to obtain, so he started his own IT company that is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and does on line computer repair.

Solutions: the person from OR, could change his name? (He like his name), he could hire people to blog about his company and include his name, to make the person in NJ lose his ranking? (Can be expensive), he can add a photo of himself, and add middle initial to his website.

What has transpired during in the time to write this article, The person from Oregon contacted the two top links in the Google search for their name, one posted a editor's note explaining that there are two different people with the same name, and that their blog is about the person from NJ, the other posted a whole page to differentiate the two people with the same name, and allowing comments on the page where someone else paraphrased her blog on their website.

This is the person from Oregon, and has no control over the person in NJ or anyone who writes blogs about him, and it is the intent of this author is to show that stolen valor can have negative repercussions to others other than the violator.
