Pegasus Logistics Group Names New President

COPPELL, Texas - April 2, 2013 - PRLog -- COPPELL, TEXAS – Ken Beam, Founder and CEO of Pegasus Logistics Group (PLG), announced that he has promoted Chris Thomas, former Chief Sales Officer, to President effective March 26, 2013.

“His optimism, energy and enthusiasm are key attributes to why I’ve selected him to take Pegasus to the next level. He’s a strong team builder with a strategic approach to selling in this industry. Chris embraces Pegasus’ strong values and believes in our culture. I am confident that Pegasus will continue to succeed under his direction,” Beam said in an internal email to the employees.

PLG was founded in 1994 by Beam through a desire to better the way value is delivered in the transportation and logistics industry. For the past nineteen years, Beam has served as both CEO and President of the private company, focused on providing not only the best customer service in the industry but a place where the best talent in the industry wants to work. Thomas joined the company in 2011 as Chief Sales Officer, and under his direction, sales increased significantly in one year, with new business signed in the latter half of 2011 more than doubling the previous year’s total. He has established a unique sales process in the industry, designing a consultative and collaborative selling style focused on the unique challenges of every client.
