April 10, 2013 - PRLog -- " Be Different, Be Great, and Never Stop", is the motto that Brandon Frame not only lives by but also embodies. Hailing from Hartford, Connecticut, Brandon has always had a vision for achieving his goals. His path to greatness started early, but some of his most distinguished experiences were cultivated while attending Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. While at Morehouse, Brandon's affinity for developing young Black Males into positive Black Men was formed, in addition to his love for marketing, business, and education and with that passion, Brandon can now add author to his growing list of titles.

Define Yourself, Redefine the World: A Guided Journal for Black Boys and Men, (http://theblackmancan.org/) launched on January 24, 2013, is a therapeutic starting point for empowerment, self-love, and forward-looking progress for young males. It's a transformational journey that will lead you to inwardly question the person you are and who you desire to become.

Created with the understanding that self-discovery and understanding has a direct relationship with how you view and impact others, this guided journal will surely question and help you develop your concepts of manhood. Award-winning writer and culture critic, Darryl Frierson founder of "From Ashy to Classy"shares, "The Black Male voice is something that is expressed through many different facets many times at the highest denominator or many times the lowest denominator of living. Stories are many times told about how people get there but never go into the insight of getting out of the mundane daily process of thinking that some people go through This book gives black men and parents raising black boys the tools, motivation, and insight of how to get to a comfortable place as a black man growing up not just in America but in this world."

Being and becoming a compassionate, service-oriented, positive, and forward-looking Black male in this world is difficult without the proper support system and encouragement. This guided journal speaks through over 50 males who've been on the same journey such as: Love & Money Media Expert, Kenny Pugh, Professor at Columbia University,  Dr. Chris Emdin, President Dillard University, Dr. Walter Kimbrough, Head Coach, University of Connecticut, Kevin Ollie and Akil Bello Founder of Bell Curves. Their quotes, sayings, advice, and inspirational messages are words meant to capture your attention, hug your soul, push you forward, and add fire to your flame. Hear their voices, witness their testimonies, and see yourself through their experiences.

In April 2010, Brandon founded The Black Man Can, a website geared towards promoting a positive Black Male image. Brandon felt the urge to demystify the perception of Black Males as being only negative and threatening by highlighting the abundance of positive acts, individuals and organizations fueled by Black Males. Since its creation,TheBlackManCan.org  (http://theblackmancan.org/) has become a pivotal location that serves as an inspiration for the black community and society as a whole by actively promoting a positive image of Black males. A motivational change agent, Brandon shares, "I specifically designed this journal to be a tool for our community. Define Yourself, Redefine the World: A Guided Journal for Black Boys and Men is for you!"

On March 29th, as Director of Business Partnerships & Development at Hartford-based High School Inc., Frame and school leaders chartered a global business exploration trip for 21 urban high school seniors that included tours in London and Paris, a historic feat that truly shows that Brandon Frame is the epitome of "Be Different. Be Great. Never Stop." Define Yourself, Redefine the World: A Guided Journal for Black Boys and Men  is available for purchase on Amazon.com and by visiting http://theblackmancan.org/.

Brandon Frame represents a unique voice on issues affecting young black males in a Hip Hop crazed culture that glorifies misogyny in music and a marked self-hatred. As a motivational youth change agent, he has spoken at Dartmouth College, Saint Louis University, Nichols College, University of Connecticut, The Ohio State University, Eastern Connecticut State University to name a few.  Brandon carries his responsibility with purpose and focused intention.  He is available to speak on issues and concerns of young American youth, the importance of the father/son dynamic and issues as it relates to urban young males.
