My Final Shot Production Presents First Short Film Showcase

NEW YORK - April 14, 2013 - PRLog -- My Final Shot Production presents its first short film showcase, taking place at NEIRS’s Tavern, 87-48 78th Street, Woodhaven, NY 11421 on April 21, 2013. The event, which represents the launch of My Final Shot Production an independent film production company aiming to focus on featuring short films by a diverse award-winning filmmakers, screenwriters and independent filmmakers.  The showcase will begin at 6:30pm with introduction by Mauricio (Mo) Zapata, founder of My Final Shot Production.  

My Final Shot Production is proud to bring its first short film showcase to NEIRS’s Tavern for the first time which is the film set location of films “Goodfellas” and “Tower Heist”.

CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTOR – written, directed and starring JW CORTES

Puerto Rican actor has been given a chance to star in a Hollywood film, who wants to live his dream, but at what cost?

SHOE SHINE CHICKEN – written by Al Burgo, Fernando Cuestas and directed by Fernando Cuestas

Set in 1963, it follows a pair of kids shining shoes on the boardwalk of Coney Island. When little Al’s father tells him to get a job, he turns to his friend named Chicken a tough kid, and the choices they make will change them forever.
