Cheyenne A. Wright, Apollo Theater Amateur Night Winner, Appears on the GingerNewYork TV Show

NEW YORK - April 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Cheyenne A. Wright, 15 years old, from Queens, New York, loves to sing.  Ms. Wright was born on April Fool's Day but this young lady is not a joke.  She loves to entertain and some of her favorite audiences include Senior Citizens where she often performs for special events. Cheyenne also performs for Veterans where she spends time singing and laughing with the gentlemen whose faces light up when she sings some of their old-time favorite songs from The Temptations and Al Green.  Ms. Wright has also lent her voice to rallies of Stop the Violence, a group that consists of families that have lost their young loved ones to gun violence.

Her next goal is to learn sign language so she can sing and sign at the same time for the deaf and hearing impaired.  

Ms. Wright wants to make a career with her voice so she can also give back to the community and to continue spending time with those who may not be as fortunate as others. Cheyenne believes that everyone has a voice and no matter what people might say about yours, if you love to sing, sing as loud and as often as you can because your voice is a gift that is free and just might brighten someone's day.

Cheyenne Wright recently performed at the landmark Apollo Theater, in the Village of Harlem, during the world famous Amateur Night competitions.  She had audience members begging for More! More! More! as she belted out a memorable arrangement of Grammy Award winning singer Alicia Keys' million-selling single, "No One" capturing an impressive first place, twice in the competitions.  Ms. Wright has also been featured in several entertainment magazines, including an interview/review conducted by Don Thomas, entertainment editor for the New York Beacon newspapers.
