Honda Will Sponsor and Participate in the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

BARRINGTON, Ill. - May 1, 2013 - PRLog -- The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, also known as The Race to the Clouds, is an annual race that has earned a reputation as a kind of proving ground for new automotive technologies, so of course Honda is well-represented. The 2013 race marks the first time that Honda has been a corporate sponsor of the event, which dates back to 1916 and is the second-oldest motorsport event in America. The race is held on a 12.42-mile course with a 156 turns; it begins at an elevation of 9,390 feet and ends at 14,110 feet, at the foot summit of Pikes Peak.
