Thorndale Chiropractor to participate on US Open Wellness Team

THORNDALE, Pa. - June 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Organized by Dr. Jeff Poplarski, the volunteer Wellness Team features over one hundred healthcare providers in specialties including chiropractic, physical therapy, massage therapy & athletic training.  There will even be an on site hyperbaric chamber for golfers, caddies, officials and volunteers to take advantage of over the course of the week.  “It’s a great honor to be a part of this exceptional staff again.  The US Open is one of the world’s greatest sporting events,” said Lapp.    

This will be the fifth U.S. Open played at the East Course at Merion Golf Club since it opened in 1912.  The last time Merion hosted the U.S. Open was 32 years ago in 1981 when David Graham won.  This year’s Open will be put on with the help of over 5000 volunteers and will include over 150 players vying for a purse of over $8 million.

Dr. Matthew Lapp is a Certified Chiropractis Sports Practitioner and a Level 1 Certified Golf Fitness Instructor with the Titleist Performance Institute.  He owns and operates Salus Chiropractic Studio in Thorndale, PA with his wife.   The Drs. mission is to promote healing, integral health, and optimal quality of life by providing gentle and effective care that promotes new possibilities in the lives of their practice members and the people they care about.
