Jaime Nack of Three Squares Inc. Named Small Business Week Environmental Conservator of the Year

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - June 12, 2013 - PRLog -- During a special awards ceremony and luncheon event held today at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, Jaime Nack, President of Three Squares Inc. (TSI) was named the Environmental “Green” Conservator of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Los Angeles District Office and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce.

The 2013 event marks the 32nd year the SBA and the Los Angeles Area Chamber recognize the efforts and work of entrepreneurs and small businesses owners in the Los Angeles area and throughout the nation who are helping to power the regional economy and accelerate economic recovery. The “Environmental Conservator” category was created in 2010 to distinguish the efforts of small business owners in the environmental industry and this marks the fourth award given in this category by the Small Business Awards program.

The Environmental Conservator of the Year Award recognizes an individual who owns and operates a small business that employs, promotes and exemplifies environmental innovation in either manufacturing, technology, recycling, architectural design, conservation, waste reduction and organic products. Nack was recognized for her efforts in promoting environmental awareness among government entities, corporations and non-profits through her sustainability consulting and event management firm, Three Squares Inc.   Nack's professional career has focused on developing strategies and campaigns for the alternative fuel vehicle industry, national clean transportation projects, and environmental port initiatives. Nack also works to promote awareness of women’s business issues through her federal appointment to the National Women’s Business Council.
