BBS, Inc. Boston knocks it out of the park for charity!

WOBURN, Mass. - June 12, 2013 - PRLog -- BBS, Inc. Boston, a sales and marketing company in Woburn, MA held a charity softball game at a local Somerville field on Sunday, May 19th 2013.

Having charged a flat rate participation fee, BBS was able to raise over $300.00 for the cause and was described by one BBS employee as a huge success.

According to one member of the BBS Human Resources Department, “This event could not have been possible without the planning and participation of all our employees who took part.  We would also like to give a huge thank you to Treasure T’s of Andover, MA who custom designed shirts for the event! In hopes of creating excitement and energy for the game we designed T-shirts for the event which Treasure T’s not only discounted for charity but hand delivered them to our office.”

BBS, Inc. is no stranger to raising money for local and national charities, such as Operation Smiles or the Wounded Warrior Project. In light of recent events it was especially rewarding for BBS to donate the proceeds to the family of a local victim of the Boston Marathon bombing.

As described by one BBS Assistant Manager, “This year’s annual charity softball game was better than ever! Not only did everyone have a great time, but more importantly we came together to raise money for a local family in need. It is so great to see our office work together, along with family and friends, to support those affected by such a tragic event.”
